The Learning and Development Program at SMFR is designed to equip employees with crucial people skills necessary for optimizing team dynamics, communication, leadership, emotional intelligence, and mentorship. This comprehensive program aims to foster professional growth and organizational success by providing training and practical experience in these areas, supporting leadership initiatives, and enhancing a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing. Through collaboration with higher education partners and the implementation of effective assessment tools, the program ensures that the development needs of employees are met and continuously improved.
The purpose of the Learning and Development Program is to equip employees of SMFR with people skills that are crucial for optimizing; team dynamics, communication, leadership, emotional intelligence, and mentorship, fostering professional growth and organizational success.
The AIM of the Learning and Development Program is to provide comprehensive training and practical experience in;
- Build unified and high performing team dynamics.
- Enhance communication effectiveness.
- Develop strong and adaptive leadership capabilities.
- Foster emotional intelligence skills among employees to enhance self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness, and relationship management.
- Strengthen a culture of mentorship and knowledge sharing.
- Actively support and implement initiatives proposed by leadership aimed at developing essential people skills.
- Develop and deploy Learning and Development solutions to meet the needs of the employee.
- Measure the Learning and Development program by creating and managing informal and formal assessment tools and processes.
- Assist in course facilitation which includes logistical, curriculum and instructor development and support.
- Collaborate with higher education partners and support employee secondary education advancement.
