About
Built in 1994, Station 16 is located near S Santa Fe Drive and C-470 in Unincorporated Douglas County. Station 16 houses Battalion Chief 1, Engine 16, and Medic 16 with a crew of 7 personnel. The Engine Company and Medic Unit personnel cross-staff Dive 16, a specialized vehicle that tows a trailer with 2 inflatable boats. Dive 16 responds districtwide to static and swift water rescues, ice rescues and submersion recoveries. Battalion Chief 1 responds to major incidents in the southwestern portion of the fire district and is responsible for Stations 13, 16, 19, 36, 39, and 40.

The first due response area includes Chatfield State Park, the South Platte River, portions of Highlands Ranch, City of Littleton, Unincorporated Douglas, and Jefferson Counties.

Built in 1998, Station 18 is located near Broadway and Lucent Boulevard in Highlands Ranch. Station 18 houses Tower 18, Medic 18, and Safety 18 with 7 total personnel. Safety 18 is staffed by a Captain who responds to major incidents in the western half of the fire district and assists incident commanders with keeping everyone on scene safe and out of danger.
Response Area
The first due response area includes the central portion of Highlands Ranch and southern areas of the City of Littleton.

Built in 2016, Station 19 is located near Trailmark Parkway and S Wadsworth Boulevard in the City of Littleton. Station 19 houses Paramedic Engine 19 and Brush 19 with a total of 4 personnel. Brush 19 is a Type 6 wildland apparatus which is cross-staffed by the Engine when needed.
Response Area
The first due response area includes the Trailmark Community, Chatfield State Park, Lockheed Martin Waterton Campus, and portions of Unincorporated Jefferson County.

Built in 1986, Station 36 is located near Castle Pines Parkway and Interstate 25 in the City of Castle Pines. Station 36 houses Engine 36, Medic 36, and Brush 36 with 6 total personnel. Brush 36 is a Type 6 wildland apparatus cross-staffed by Engine 36 that responds to vegetation fires.
Response Area
The first due response area includes the City of Castle Pines, northern portions of Castle Pines Village, and Daniels Park. Medic 36 often responds well beyond those areas west of Sedalia into the Pike National Forest with the West Douglas County Fire Protection District to provide advanced life support during medical emergencies.

Built in 1997, Station 39 is located on Happy Canyon Road between Interstate 25 and U.S. Highway 85 in Castle Pines Village. Station 39 is one of three Wildland Team Stations housing Paramedic Engine 39, Brush Engine 39, Tender 39, and a Wildland Support Truck, with 4 total personnel. Brush Engine 39 is a wildland Type 3 apparatus specially designed for urban interface fires and is cross-staffed by Engine 39 when needed. The crew also cross-staffs Tender 39 which carries 3,000 gallons of water to fires occurring in rural areas with no fire hydrants. The wildland support pick-up truck is used for wildland deployments, and up-staffing additional personnel during Red Flag Warnings.

The first due response area includes Castle Pines Village and Happy Canyon.

Station 40 houses Paramedic Engine 40, Brush Engine 40 and Tender 40 with 4 total personnel. Brush Engine 40 is a wildland Type 3 apparatus specially designed for urban interface fires and is cross-staffed by Engine 40 when needed. The first due response area includes portions of Unincorporated Douglas County, Louviers, Sterling Ranch and the south side of Chatfield State Park.
