Fire Station 45

Is located on the west side of Jordan Road south of E-470
Tower 45

South Metro's Tower Companies are staffed with a crew of four firefighters. Towers respond to all calls within their immediate "first due" station area and into other areas where their specialized tools are needed. Towers carry an assortment of ground ladders, forcible entry tools, extrication equipment, water, a pump and hose. Technical Details - 2006 Sutphen with a 1500 gpm pump, 300 gallon water tank and a 100' aerial ladder.
Tender 45

South Metro operates 6 water tenders which are staffed when needed by the Engine, Tower or Medic crew housed with them. South Metro protects many areas without fire hydrants which requires us to bring our own water to extinguish fires with. All of our tenders carry around 3,000 gallons of water. Technical Specifications - 2015 Kenworth / Pierce with a 1,000 gpm pump and 3,000 gallons of water.

Collapse 45 is a specialized vehicle used by the Technical Rescue Team. This unit responds to emergencies like trench or building collapses, vehicle extrications and large structure fires. 2000 Freightliner FL80 with a 20' Cargo Trailer
