South Metro's Engine Companies are designed to be initial response units to all-hazard emergencies involving fires, medicals, traffic accidents or hazardous materials. Engines are staffed by 3 or 4 firefighters and depending where they are housed in our district, carry between 750 and 1,500 gallons of water. Brush 33 is one of 9 Brush Trucks that South Metro operates. These small fire engines are designed to go off-roading which allows our firefighters to quickly extinguish grass and brush fires. Technical Details - 2016 Ram 5500 / BFX 4x4 with a 300 gallon water tank and 175 gpm pump.
